STUPID!!! TOTALLY STUPID!!! I ****ING HATE SEGAMBUT!!!
Bloody hell...thought it'll be faster to go thru that road...
Mana tau...from a supposedly 1 hour journey, it went to 1 hour 30 minutes...WHAT THE HELL??!?!!
THE ROAD THERE IS THE STUPIDEST ROAD EVER!!! STUPID KAMPUNG! DON'T KNOW WHAT OUR GOVERNMENT IS DOING...SO MANY TRAFFIC LIGHT! AND THE ROAD SO SMALL!!!! OMG!!!
I wanna change course from Mechanical Engineering to Chemical Engineering! Then I can develop bomb and blow up that stupid place!!!!
Yay! I love Hokkien mee! To me, its one of the best food in the world, though not the healthiest. =)
Recently I've been hunting for some really good Hokkien Mee to eat...of course not at Semenyih. There's no specialty restaurant here that does only Hokkien Mee. =(
So on Thursday, seeking the advantage of no class(exam period, all class off), having the petrol card, and...boringness of Semenyih food, a few of us travelled of to Jln Kuching from Semenyih to taste out a restaurant's Hokkien Mee. It was recommended by my roommate, Tick Siang.
Four of us...
Zi Yian
Joshua
Gok Hau
and me...we went there to eat that day. I didn't really know the way there...seeing I've never noticed any restaurant in the area though I pass the place everytime I go back to home...the Kepong home.
Anyway, I thought it'll be quite hard to find that shop...but to my surprise...its so damn easy. Among all the shops there...there are a few restaurant-like shops. But...only one that have the word "Hokkien Mee" in the name.
Wow! It must be really good in Hokkien Mee then because even the shop name is named with a "Hokkien Mee" O.o Must try must try...
I'm not sure what is sold there, but I think usual noodle dishes like fried glass noodles, fried bee hoon are sold there. There's also the deep fried sotong and fish cake. I don't really fancy the fish cake. But the noodles we ordered that day, are fried glass noodles, fried bee hoon, Hokkien Mee x 2. Yea, 2 plates of Hokkien Mee...Gok Hau is just not satisfied by one plate. =P And I wasn't satisfied by one plate as well. hehehe. The Hokkien Mee served here is just superb. Nice taste, though bit wetter than I thought it'll be.
Hokkien Mee would never be complete with sambal!!! And the sambal here is really really good! Extravaganza!!! Its so good Gok Hau have to have a puddle of sambal in his every bowl of noodle. Yes...I'm serious bout that line. He really did eat a "puddle" of sambal every bowl. O.o
Overall, the food is quite good, if you like noodles, but slightly on the expensive side. Atmosphere...don't know lah...its next to the road...feels weird. Might be a bit scary...feels like any car could come your direction at anytime and bang you like that. Cleanliness is ok, not too bad.
So, my rating for this shop is as follow:
Food: 4/5
Location: 2/5
Price: 2/5
Hygiene:3/5
In foundation, we're suppose to study English as one of the main module of the whole course. I personally don't really like this module, because, my lecturer is very strict.
This semester, we're suppose to do a group project, a questionnaire, and finally presentation.
Today's the day of presentation. And I'm very disappointed with the outcome, not that I have not expected it. I tried to save it, but I guess it is not enough. My group and I were asked to redo the presentation, because of few reasons. One reason is disorganisation, very BIG problem! Then, lack of proper preparation. I have problem with this, because I've gone through presentation before, and, I feel quite OK with it. But, my groupmates...OMG!!!!
He lost his speech halfway through...and got stuck from there onwards. Simple words like "presentation", he can't say it out. So end result...re-do...after so many time and energy wasted on this stupid project...now we need to redo.
I've been having a big big big problem with my groupmates. I really cannot stand their working style. One guy, is the biggest pain in the ass. He went missing for first half of the time of this whole project, and rejoined later. Very late...by the time he joined us, its already 60% of the time gone. And then work assigned is always late when I asked for submission. I should've scolded him long time ago, but I didn't. I will give him bloody low marks for his works and attitude.
Then another guy, I'm still angry because he gave stupid suggestions. Yes, I understand he does not want trouble, but, everything is just kept so simple, and so lousy, in the end, even I think the presentation sucks like shit. The organisation...was his idea. I objected..but nobody listened...look, now problem...and more things to do than previously. Revamp of slides, and also re-present. WTH!!!
The last one is also urgh...does the work, yea, good. But then blindly do whatever that is given only. I know his English is quite good too, and I'm sure its good enough to tell that...there's no such thing as active and passive behaviour...its suppose to be positive and negative...oh man...
I feel so sad and depressed. I see everyone around me, studying. My exams are near as well. I wanted to study, but I've got no time because of this project. Even before this, everyone is already doing except our group due to the behaviour of all group members. The "tak endah" attitude...has cost us time and energy.
I hope...I can complain to my lecturer, but I don't think I can do it. Very frustrated, depressed, disappointed and angry. Sob...
I finally got my new phone after waiting for a long long time. I'm actually getting very jealous for some time d(hehe) because everyone around me is having a phone change. And say...their phone all looks so damn cool and nice!
I think the "phone-changing phenomena" all started from Yiew Wen. Her phone got cuckoo a bit, then...next thing we know...she got a new phone. If not mistaken, she got the
W660i from Sony Ericsson. Next...Zi Yian got the same model. And then Wei Han got his Apple iPhone, Tick Siang and his
N95 by Nokia.
I was already getting very desperate to change a phone already after Tick Siang's phone change. Because I have always wanted a phone with good camera, as I always take a lot of pictures with it. And among them all, the best camera phone is Tick Siang's. =( Then Darren too got his
W910i which looks excellent.
But never mind, now I got a new phone too!!! =D
Its Nokia N82. Not my favourite, but I can't really complain when the phone is sponsored by my dad. Hahaha. I was gonna wait for the N96, but oh well.
I love it, but I do have some grumbles about it.
What I love about this phone, is, of course, the camera. Finally, 5 Megapixels! Which means there will never be another blurry and ugly looking picture!! =D I haven't have enough fun with the camera yet. This camera phone also comes with the Xenon Flash and a Carl Zeiss Lens. So from now on...I can take pictures even in the dark. Xenon...yeah!!! I love Xenon!
On to the sound and music. This phone, to my surprise, have two loudspeakers. Yep, two. This means I can watch movie on this phone with its stereophonic speakers. The speakers volume can be adjusted so that only one speaker is functioning. There's also the "widening" of the sound, which makes the song sounds like its around you. I don't know how they do it, but its fun to play with. And there's also an equaliser finally, so I can tune my player according to my preferences. There's also the 3.5mm jack for other earphones, so I don't have to use the sucky Nokia-provided earphones.
There's also many other features that is interesting in this phone. One of them, I think basically it is copied from Sony Ericsson. The feature works when you tilt the phone to its side, the image on the screen follows the tilting.
Then there's the GPS, which might be fun to play with.
The downside of this phone which I seriously hate...is the puny buttons. Its so small...that when my bro first told me bout the phone, he said the phone comes with a toothpick for me to press the button with...wth...anyway, now I'm used to it, its not that bad, but still not to my liking. Another thing is that it is heavy!!! Extremely heavy. I think it is heavier than my previous phone. This means more exercise for me =(
Then the surface is tooooooooo shiny! Yea, its nice and all, but then...one scratch...haha...it will be labelled as UGLY!!!!
So I hope I don't drop it and scratch it, because the cover is non switchable as usually found on Nokia phones. Hmmm...new phone...still adjusting...happily and excitedly =D
Recently...there's so many stuff to do. Don't even have some spare time to blog...assignments after assignments..and quizzes after quizzes. I'm gettin very stressed out here...very very stressed. There's no room to breath at all.
To add to the damn ass frustration I'm experiencing...Line in Semenyih is bloody annoying.
Maxis...line down...
Streamyx...line down...
This is so frustrating because...I can't call people...can't sms people...can't contact people on msn.
OI FUCKING MAXIS AND STREAMYX FIX UR STUPID LINE!!!
GOT FIRE I DIE IN SEMENYIH I'M GONNA HAUNT YOU GUYS TO DEATH !!!!
I don't know I'm paying so much for what...for disconnectivity??? I can just off my phone and laptop for that guys, thanks, but no thanks. COME ON MAN!!! ARRRRRGGGGHHH!!!! I HOPE THE CEO OF MAXIS AND STREAMYX GO TO HELL!!! U TWO BLOODY MONEY VAMPIRE!!! DON'T LET ME SEE YOU!! I WILL SCREW YOU TO OBLIVION!!! SCREW SCREW SCREW YOUUUUUU!!! YOU GUYS SHOULD BE JAILED FOR CHEATING GOOD PEOPLE OF THEIR HARD EARNED CASH!!! DAMN YOU GUYS! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!
The other day, I attended one superb event, the University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus Annual Dinner 2008! It was good, and I enjoyed myself very much eventhough there's slight problem at the beginning. The event lasted from 7.00pm till 1am in the morning!
Before I begin, I would like to thank two person that makes my Annual Dinner a success. First of all, is my dad. Without him, I won't be able to attend the event on time. Secondly, I would like to thank Ee Ling, because without her, I won't even be there. Without her getting the ticket for me, haha, I guess I will be at home that day watching some boring TV programme. Thanks a lot again! =D
This year's theme is Bedazzled! The event is held at One World Hotel at Bandar Utama.
I've never been there. And to tell the truth, this place looks good! Looks grand. Haha. The ballroom we had our dinner in was huge, capable of holding up to 900 people. But I think it could hold more, only thing is they haven't maximize the number of tables.
From left: Darrick, Fong Wen, Me, Sarah, Jun Fang, Yan Mei, Ee Ling Among the group of friends that I usually hang out with last time, during semester 1, only few of us came. And that's Ee Ling, Jun Fang, Sarah, Darrick, and me. Fong Wen came unpredicted. She only agreed to come at the last possible moment, which according to her, its 5pm that day...2hours before the event.
So at 7pm, I arrived at the place with Ee Ling. All the people are looking damn smart and nicely dressed. I'm constantly doubting my own's appearance as whether as "passable" or not at the place. To tell the truth, this is my first formal dinner. Maybe I fancy it, maybe I don't. I don't know. Love the atmosphere...hate the shirt...cause it makes me looks fat =(
Then Sarah and Jun Fang arrived at there. They actually were there quite early, but seeing nobody had arrived at the place yet, they decided to go for a walk at 1U, which is just next door. Then we met Darrick, and...some photo sessions took place before the time to go in.
The event is scheduled to start at 7.30pm, according to the pamphlet we received...but aiya...this is Malaysia lah...so, no event could start on time. Haha. This year, we have two DJs from FlyFm as our emcee. They are the famed Phat Fabes and Ben! They are seriously hilarious! They are just naturally good at cracking crazy jokes. Hahaha, without them, this event would be slightly duller. I still remember what happened when its time for dinner. Both of them just stood up there...
Phat Fabes(PF): Alright everyone, we need your fullest attention now.
Ben(B): Yes, we need absolute silence from everyone.
PF:...
B:...
PF: Its dinner time...
Me:.......................................ah...wow......

Throughout the dinner time, there are some performance by our University's Talent Quest 2008 finallists. And both performers are my personal favourite. The solo performer is Agha!!! He's an Indonesian, and, goodness, I just love his performances. Very nice!! Then the band is Flip A Coin And Call It Heads (FCCH)...darn long name...They were not bad too.
Nearing the ending of the dinner, we have Jason Lo to perform some songs for us. Though they are not my favourite band, but, I still like one or two of their songs. Like their "
Operator The Line Is Dead" . I was running off to the toilet when this song was about to be played, but upon hearing the song...I ran back and decided to hold my urge for 4 more minutes...hehe
Later on, the dance floor is opened officially by some of the Annual Dinner committee. They had some sort of choreographed dance together...which happens to include Darrick inside. Hahaha, it was my first time seeing him dance. And its kinda funny seeing him dance. Hahaha! Initially some of them wanted to dance, but ah, due to song choice that is not so good, nobody went.
In the end, we all just hang back a while more and have even more photo session at the entrance of the ballroom. It was just too nice to miss it. Nobody could resist the temptation to take photos there...including me...I usually don't really like taking photos unless there's a specific reason. Hahaha.
I must say, this Annual Dinner is a success. Good job to those committees. They worked hard. And the outcome is good. I enjoyed it very much and this event will be tagged as one of the memorable event in my life. =)

But then...none of this pictures beats the next one. Its my favourtie pic of the whole day! Hahahaha!
Recently I went shopping at Desa Parkcity's Jusco Maxvalu. Infant milk is common...Nestle, Enfagrow...well, you can get all sorts of brands of infant milks at everywhere. There are also adult milks, like Anlene. But, I'm sure nobody will ever think this drink I'm going to show you will be labled as "Adult Milk".
